What We Found in an Amazon Mystery Box: Nmybwo & More — May 21, 2026

We sealed this one at 10:41 PM on May 21st — forty-four items, just over $1,000 in estimated retail. Not every box hits like this, but this one had some genuine standouts buried in there alongside a surprising amount of hair care and a few things we're still googling.

Yeah, a laptop. A purple one. The Nmybwo 16 Inch Purple Laptop Computer 12G LPDDR5 RAM 512GB NVMe SSD Alder Lake N95 CPU, 2K FHD(1920 * 1200) IPS Screen/Color Backlit KB/Fingerprint/Windows 11 PC for Business Work Study retails at $389 and has no business being in a mystery box at this price point. Color backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, 2K IPS display. Sealed. This is the kind of pull that makes you want to rip open another one immediately.

Right behind it was the Airthings Wave Plus Indoor Air Monitor w/Radon detection at $229 retail. If you've never thought about radon levels in your home, this gadget will make you think about it plenty. Smart, app-connected, and honestly a useful thing to own — not just a novelty.

We also pulled a Blue Yeti Cup ($40), two 2025 Upgraded Smart Car Air Freshener Diffusers with 8 Color LED at $19.99 each, and one YWSER Car Fragrance Air Freshener — so apparently this box had a whole car-smell agenda.

Four Compression Packing Cubes at $9.99 each are ready to go, along with six bottles of Black Hair Dye Shampoo 3 in 1 500ml and three big 28 oz bottles of Tresemme Silky and Smooth Frizz Control with Argan Oil shampoo 28 fl oz. The Urnex Single Brewer Cleaning Cups are a nice little grab for any single-serve coffee drinker. Plus dozens more bin-labeled items heading straight into our store bins.

This is exactly why we love opening these Amazon Mystery Boxes here in Hot Springs. You never quite know whether you're getting a laptop or six bottles of hair dye. Sometimes you get both.
