What We Found in an Amazon Mystery Box: Gerber & More — May 22, 2026

We cracked open an Amazon Mystery Box here in Hot Springs today, and while it wasn't exactly a jackpot haul, it had a certain charm to it. Thirty-five items total, a handful of genuinely useful finds, and enough randomness to keep things interesting.

The EDC Find That Earned Its Keep

The standout piece was the Gerber Gear 31-002521N GDC Pocket Knife Money Clip with Fixed Blade Knife and Case — a compact, stainless steel EDC combo that retails for $14.56. Solid build, practical design, the kind of thing that disappears off our shelves fast once it's priced out.

Beyond that, we pulled ten key and wallet chains at $5.00 each. Ten of them. That's not a coincidence — someone somewhere ordered a lot of chains, and now they're ours. Great little impulse buy items, honestly.

Two bottles of Kikkoman Gluten-Free Tamari Soy Sauce made a surprise appearance, at $10.98 retail each. We don't see a lot of pantry staples in these boxes, so that was a fun curveball. And three packets of True Lemon Drink Mix rounded things out — small, but at $2.69 each, they're easy grab-and-go additions for our drink mix section.

The rest of the box? Nineteen bin-labeled pieces heading straight into our store bins for resale. Nothing flashy, but our bins stay stocked and our customers stay happy.

Was this the wildest Amazon Mystery Box we've ever opened? Not even close. But mid boxes have their place — a little EDC, a little hot sauce energy, a lot of wallet chains. Sometimes that's just what a Thursday in Hot Springs looks like.
