Forty-eight dollars of retail value in four items. One Amazon Mystery Box at $55. The math isn't flashy, but the contents are genuinely useful — and one of them is a little unhinged in the best way.
The Star of This One: A Bathroom Rug and a Rude Gnome
The FIFU Bathroom Runner Rug — 24" x 48", non-slip rubber latex backing, black — was the practical anchor of this box. A soft, full-size bath mat that retails at $25 on its own. Good find. Sturdy. Exactly the kind of thing Hot Springs shoppers grab for a bathroom refresh without overthinking it.
Right next to it? A Gnometastic Gnude Gnome. The 12.5-inch unpainted, middle-finger-raising garden gnome that you paint yourself. It's listed as "for adults," which, yes, tracks. At $19.99 retail, it's genuinely funny and genuinely a real product. We love when a box has a little personality.
The Hydrapeak Mini 20oz Kids Water Bottle — pink, straw lid, double-wall insulated, leak-proof — came in at $18.95 retail. Clean, sealed, ready to go. A solid pickup for back-to-school season or any kid who destroys water bottles on a weekly basis.
Rounding out the named finds: a Cuisinart Mesh Strainer Set, stainless steel, 3-piece. Fifteen dollars and change retail, and honestly one of those kitchen staples that disappears off shelves fast. Classic Cuisinart quality.
Beyond those four, there were seven more bin-labeled pieces heading straight into our store bins — plus more to dig through in person.
Not every Amazon Mystery Box is a home run. This one was a solid single — useful stuff, a gnome with an attitude, and a few extras for the bins. Worth the dig.
