What We Found in an Amazon Mystery Box: Create & More — April 18, 2026

We cracked this one open on a Friday evening, and the mix caught us off guard. Not a huge haul — fifteen items total — but a few of them are genuinely useful finds, and one of them made the whole team do a double-take.

The Star Find: A Professional Styling Tool for Under Forty Bucks

Leading the box was the Create Hot Air Salon Modeling 5in1 Professional Styling Tool, retailing at $39.99 brand new. If you do anything with your hair, you know a good multi-styler isn't cheap. This one came sealed, and it's now on our shelves here in Hot Springs at a fraction of that price.

Right behind it, a 3 lb. bag of Lakanto Golden Monk Fruit Sweetener — the keto-friendly raw cane sugar substitute. Three pounds is a lot of sweetener. $24.29 retail, and it's a brand people actively seek out. That one won't last long.

Then there's the wildcard. A 9.2oz bag of Freeze Dried Quail Egg Yolk — appears to be a pet food brand, and yes, it's exactly what it sounds like. Fourteen dollars and change retail. Weird? A little. But somebody's dog or cat is going to be very happy.

We also pulled a My First Year Memory Book — sweet little gift item, full retail at $14.99 — and two Centerpiece Flowers at $6.99 each. Cute for a table spread or a last-minute gift situation.

The rest of the box was nine bin-labeled pieces heading straight into our store bins, so keep an eye on those if you're digging through next time you visit.

Not a record-breaker, but a solid, weird, surprisingly useful box. That's kind of what we love about the Amazon Mystery Box.
