Sunday afternoon at Deals Down Under, we cut into a closed Amazon returns box dated April 27th — 30 items, $115.93 in estimated retail value, and absolutely no idea what was waiting inside. That's the whole thing about Amazon mystery boxes. You just never know.

Honestly? This one was pretty mid. Twenty-three of the thirty items were bin-labeling supplies — think small tags, stickers, that sort of organizational stuff. Useful, sure, but not exactly the moment you dream about when you're standing there with a box cutter. We also pulled one lonely piece of clothing that shall not be discussed further.

The TERRO Insect Killer Was the Real Win

Here's where it got good. The TERRO Spray Home Insect Killer (1 qt.) was tucked in there like a little gift. Retail on that is $15.98 — it's the 12-month formula, non-staining, odorless, works indoors and out. We also pulled a Harry's Men's 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner, 14 fl oz, retailing at $7.99. Harry's is genuinely a solid brand — not a throwaway find. Clean formula, good size bottle. That one will move fast on the floor.

So yeah — two real wins, a mountain of labeling supplies, and one mystery clothing item we're just going to let live its best life on the rack. Not every Amazon return box is a treasure chest. Sometimes it's a treasure chest with a lot of packing material. We still had fun opening it, and somebody's going home with a great deal on bug spray.
