What We Found in an Amazon Mystery Box: My628 & More — April 18, 2026

Friday afternoon we tore into a fresh Amazon returns pallet box — 56 items, $289.87 estimated retail value, and the usual chaos of not knowing what's inside until your hands are already in it. That's the whole game, and we love it.

Most of this box was workmanlike. Twenty-six bin labeling items made up the bulk of it, which is exactly as thrilling as it sounds. Useful? Sure. Exciting? Not exactly. Toss in some phone cases, a handful of clothing pieces, and a few jewelry items and you've got a box that's more "steady inventory filler" than "jaw-drop moment." We've opened better. We've definitely opened worse.

The bedding was a quiet win though. Five pieces at roughly $5 each — that's the kind of thing that moves fast on our floor without anyone making a big deal about it. Sheets, pillowcases, that whole corner of the store tends to stay warm.

Here's the one that made us smile. Cat owners know exactly what this is for, and they will find it. Every time we stock pet stuff it disappears quietly and quickly. No fanfare, just gone.
